On our journey to create a catalog of delicious, healthy recipes for ourselves, we decided that we want to share them with you as well. 

We love food! Especially food that both properly nourishes and tastes amazing. 

While we aren’t trained chefs, we love to eat and we like to think we know what tastes good. We also believe that anyone can learn to cook!

We are constantly trying new recipes and learning about the healthiest foods. Some months we will be inspired to perfect several recipes, and some months we might not be feeling the inspiration at all. Join us on our inconsistent journey (because that’s just how life works).

Be Slightly Better Bakery

Our inspiration to share our recipes began with a desire to teach people how to eat healthier foods that still taste great.

We discovered that we first needed to prove it could be done, so we created Be Slightly Better Bakery. Successfully selling what we called “oatballs” (aka energy balls) and a few other healthy snacks, we later learned that there are some people who don’t want to make it themselves.

That works great from a business standpoint, but we know that there are people out there like us who really want to save money and DIY.

Our bakery will always be apart of our business plan, and we will be sharing status updates about where we sell on our bakery page linked above.

To maintain our core value of honesty, every recipe used in the bakery will be listed on our website under the “recipes” category.
